Spring Meeting Flyer is out!
Download it, fill it out and mail it in. Click hereUpdate on the Registered Dental Practitioner (RDP)
To date, more than 33 coalition partners, including KDHA, have joined the Kansas Dental Project in advocating for the Registered Dental Practitioner. However the RDP is still proposed legislation. Currently the Kansas Legislature is not in session, but Legislators are willing to hear from you about this topic.
On October 11, 2011 an interim bipartisan legislative committee convened testimony both for and against the proposed legislation related to the RDP. KDHA submitted written testimony in favor of House Bill 2280 and Senate Bill 192. These are twin bills, both advocating for the RDP. They were each introduced in their respective House committee and Senate committee. Each one of these committees could vote for the respective bill to be moved on. HOWEVER, neither bill will move forward if the committee does not hear from YOU! How will the legislators know a mid-level dental provider is a good idea for Kansans if you don’t tell them? Write today!
What should you write? Jot down a few lines about why you would like to be a RDP. What population would benefit most from an RDP?
