Kansas Dental Hygienists' Association Advocacy Day 2022 will be held at the Statehouse in Topeka, KS on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022.  Registration is now closed for the event. 

As the 2022 legislative session is now underway, we encourage members to continue to contact legislators and tell them that you support Dental Therapy in Kansas. Your support is critical to educate legislators and committee chairs about how this oral health provider will be an impactful member of the dental team!

If you were unable to attend Advocacy Day this year, please download the talking points and policy handouts below and send them to your legislators along with your message encouraging them to support Dental Therapy in Kansas. Also, feel free to share a personal connection or anecdote about your time as a dental hygienist and how we currently meet our patients needs and the importance of what we do.
