COVID-19 Updates for Kansas Hygienists
Dear Kansas Hygienists,
ADHA and KDHA are committed to advocating for the health and well-being of dental hygienists and their patients during this difficult time. For updates on communication between ADHA, Congressional Leadership and other federal agencies, please visit www.adha.org/covid19.
ADHA has released their Interim Guidance for Returning to Work that outlines steps to reopening, as well as recommendations for PPE to don when you begin treating patients again. If you believe your work environment is not safe, please speak with your employer, and then follow additional steps outlined by OSHA's Worker's Right to Refuse Dangerous Work.
For those of you who have been laid-off due to COVID-19, please visit the Kansas Department of Labor website as a resource to help you file for financial help until you are able to return to work.
If you have any questions regarding COVID-19, please share them with ADHA at RDHCovidInfo@adha.net
If you have further questions regarding COVID-19 in Kansas, or any other hygiene related questions, please contact KDHA at yourkdha@gmail.com or follow our updates on our social media pages.
We are here for you!
Be well,
Your KDHA EC Team
